Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is preparing to present the budget

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to present the budget despite the instructions of Aleema Khan, the sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan.
Aleema Khan had instructed Chief Minister Sohail Afridi not to present the budget without consulting the founding chairman, however, the government has decided to convene the budget session on June 15.
The Assembly Secretariat has been informed that the budget session will continue till June 30.
According to the budget schedule:

• The budget will be presented on June 15
• A break on June 16 and 17
• The budget discussion will begin on June 18 (three days are allotted for discussion)
• After this, the money demands will begin

After the budget is approved, the supplementary budget will be discussed and money demands will be presented.
