Petrol price reduced by Rs 4 per liter, diesel price unchanged

The government has announced a reduction of Rs 4 per liter in the price of petrol, while there has been no change in the price of diesel.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the new price of petrol per liter for the next week starting June 6 has been increased to Rs 377.78.
The price of diesel per liter has been maintained at Rs 380.78.
It may be recalled that last week the government had reduced the prices of both petrol and diesel by Rs 22 per liter. Earlier, on May 15, a reduction of Rs 5 per liter in the prices of both products was announced.
