Selena Gomez faces lawsuit over mental health startup WonderMind

American singer and actress Selena Gomez is facing a lawsuit related to the mental health startup ‘WonderMind’.

According to international news agencies, investors have alleged that she did not fulfill her responsibilities related to building and promoting the company.

According to reports, five investors invested about $ 1.2 million in WonderMind Global in 2022.

The company, which was launched in 2021, aimed to help improve the ‘mental health’ of consumers.

According to the lawsuit, Selena Gomez was the company’s co-founder, chief impact officer and head of marketing.

The investors claim that they were given expectations regarding the company’s valuation, potential partnerships, advertising deals and a new mobile app, but these plans did not materialize.

Selena Gomez’s mother and the company’s former business partner have also been made a party to the lawsuit.

Selena Gomez's mother has denied allegations that she used investors' money for personal expenses.

On the other hand, the allegations made in the lawsuit have not yet been proven in court.
