The Lahore Board has discontinued hard copies of Intermediate result cards

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has modified the procedure for issuing Intermediate result cards. Under the new system, students will not be provided with a printed copy of the result card; instead, it will be issued in a digital (soft) format.
Lahore Board officials have informed all relevant educational institutions about this new procedure. Candidates will also be able to verify their results online using the QR code present on the result card.
Procedure for Regular and Private Candidates
Under the new system, private candidates will be able to download a soft copy of their result card from the Lahore Board's website, whereas the result cards for regular candidates will be made available on the portals of their respective educational institutions.
According to Board officials, discontinuing the printing and physical distribution of result cards to institutions will save the Board millions of rupees. Officials state that the initiative aims to digitize the issuance of result cards and reduce the costs associated with the process.
Lahore Board Intermediate Result Details
The Lahore Board recently announced the results of the Intermediate examinations, recording an overall pass percentage of 64.98%. A total of 189,373 candidates participated in the examinations.
The pass rate for regular candidates stood at 71.67%, while the pass rate for private candidates was 44.83%. Among female candidates, the pass rate was recorded at 73.74%, compared to 51.54% for male candidates. Candidates can also submit online applications for the re-checking of their results.
