Intermediate results for Punjab's educational boards released; female students show outstanding performance

Various educational boards across Punjab have announced the results of the annual intermediate examinations. While female students outperformed male students in terms of pass rates across several boards, boys secured the top positions in the Multan Board.

A total of 61,409 candidates appeared for the Rawalpindi Board examination, with 36,896 declared successful. The overall pass rate stood at 60.08 percent; the pass rate for female students was 67.56 percent, compared to 46.52 percent for male students.

Female students also dominated the top positions in the Rawalpindi Board. Atfa Javed secured the first position with 1,156 marks, and Noor Fatima Sajid took second place with 1,151 marks, while Nabiha Iman and Muneeb Shah jointly secured the third position with 1,142 marks.

Lahore Board Pass Rate: 64.98 Percent

A total of 189,373 candidates participated in the Lahore Board's intermediate examination. The overall pass rate was 64.98 percent, with a pass rate of 71.67 percent for regular candidates and 44.83 percent for private candidates.

Female students also demonstrated superior performance in the Lahore Board, achieving a pass rate of 73.74 percent, whereas the pass rate for male students was recorded at 51.54 percent. Candidates may also apply online for the re-checking of their results.

Boys Secure Top Positions in Multan Board

The Multan Board has also announced the results of the annual intermediate examinations. A total of 79,796 candidates appeared for the examination, of whom 53,489 were declared successful, resulting in an overall pass rate of 67.03 percent.

Ali bin Abdullah secured the first position in the Multan Board by obtaining 1,163 marks. Fakhra Zafar stood second with 1,162 marks, while Dania Sabir, Dua Fatima, and Faizan Shaukat jointly secured the third position with 1,161 marks.

Results of Other Boards

In the Sargodha Board's intermediate examination, 55,034 candidates participated; 38,076 passed, while 16,958 were unsuccessful. The overall pass rate stood at 69.19 percent.

Pass rates were recorded at 64.92 percent in Bhakkar, 68.35 percent in Khushab, and 65.69 percent in Mianwali.

Similarly, the pass rate for the intermediate examination was 67.11 percent in Lodhran, 67.90 percent in Khanewal, and 66.24 percent in Vehari.
