Sazgar Engineering Works' quarterly profit exceeds Toyota and Honda

Sazgar Engineering Works posted a profit of Rs8.7 billion for the three-month period ending in June 2026—a figure exceeding the quarterly profits reported by Toyota and Honda in Pakistan for the same period.
The company’s profit surged by approximately 151% compared to the same period last year. During this time, sales also rose significantly, reaching approximately Rs76.5 billion, driven largely by strong sales of four-wheelers.
Significant Rise in Four-Wheeler Sales
Sazgar Engineering Works sold 6,549 four-wheelers between April and June 2026, more than double the volume recorded in the same period last year. The company assembles and sells Haval and GWM vehicles in Pakistan.
In comparison, Indus Motor Company (manufacturer of Toyota vehicles) reported a quarterly profit of approximately Rs6.1 billion for the same period, while Honda Atlas Cars posted a profit of around Rs2.49 billion.

In addition to its quarterly results, Sazgar Engineering Works has reported a total profit of Rs 23.6 billion for the 2026 fiscal year.
The latest financial results indicate a significant increase in the company's vehicle sales and revenue, driven largely by the rising demand for locally assembled vehicles.
