Sushant Singh Rajput's death, new claims by postmortem team member raise questions

Nearly six years after the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the matter has once again come under discussion. Roop Kumar Shah, who was involved in his post-mortem, has made claims regarding the actor's death that have resurfaced the already existing questions about the incident.

Roop Kumar Shah claims that there were certain injuries on Sushant's neck that do not satisfy him to call the death a suicide. According to him, the actor's left side of the neck was injured three to four times with an instrument, which were about two to three millimeters deep. He also claimed that Sushant was allegedly strangled two to three times before being hanged.

The post-mortem team member made another serious allegation, saying that he was under pressure to complete Sushant's post-mortem that night. According to him, former Mumbai Police officer Sachin Waze forced him to complete the post-mortem that night instead of postponing the process until the next morning.

Roop Kumar Shah also made claims regarding his arrest and alleged torture. He says that after the post-mortem, he was kept in custody for about 15 days and was allegedly tortured. He also claimed that some people wearing masks used to come to him and threaten him.

He also made claims regarding the death of Sushant's former manager Disha Salian. According to Roop Kumar Shah, one of his colleagues told him about seeing various bruises and cut marks on Disha's body during her post-mortem. According to him, there were also bruises on her lips, ears and chest.

Roop Kumar Shah also claimed that Disha Salian was allegedly gang-raped and said that five to six people were involved in it. However, all these allegations have not been independently verified, so they cannot be considered proven facts.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his flat in Mumbai's Bandra area on June 14, 2020. Just days before his death, on June 8, his former manager Disha Salian also died after falling from a building in Mumbai's Malad area.

Disha Salian's father Satish Salian has already suspected a connection between the two incidents. He maintains that the deaths of Sushant and Disha could be linked and has demanded further investigation into the matter.

Disha's father has also questioned the alleged CBI closure report on Sushant's death. Thus, the fresh claims that have come to light after years have rekindled old questions about both deaths, but the final status of these claims will only be clear after the relevant investigations and available evidence.
