Under the new system, the use of traditional paper result cards will be gradually eliminated, while students will be provided with the facility to get their digital result cards sitting at home after the exam results.
According to media reports, a special digital portal is being developed for this purpose, where the records of students' exam results and result cards will be kept.
After the announcement of the results, students will be able to download their result cards from the portal and also print them as needed.
According to officials, the issuance of digital result cards will be carried out in phases. In the first phase, digital result cards will be issued to ninth grade and first year students, while later, tenth grade and second year students will also be made part of this system.
The new result cards will include various security features, including QR codes, which will help colleges, universities, employers and other relevant organizations to verify the document instantly.
This will also help prevent the use of fake result cards and educational certificates, and the digital result card will have the same legal and official status as the traditional result card.
Students will be able to use it for admissions to colleges and universities, jobs, scholarships, obtaining equivalence and other government and educational matters.
The implementation of the digital system will save time and money for students and parents, while there will be no need to visit board offices repeatedly to obtain the result card.
The availability of digital records is also expected to make the process of verification of educational documents faster, more transparent and easier.
