Elon Musk's AI company introduces Imagine Image 2.0

Elon Musk’s SpaceX AI has introduced Imagine Image 2.0. The new version is included as a new quality mode in Google’s Imagine service on the web and in its iOS and Android apps.

The new model is specifically designed for creative tasks that require accurate layout of images, clear text, and maintaining frequently used visual elements.

According to the company, Imagine 2.0 is capable of following detailed instructions, organizing typography and layout in complex designs, and keeping small text clear.

It can also preserve user-provided objects in new images or edits. However, API access to this model is not yet available and is planned to be introduced later.

The new model also includes various tools for editing. The user can select a specific part of the image and change it using the Magic Wand or segmentation, while the rest of the image can be left as is. There is also a facility to remove the background and save the image in a transparent format.

Image 2.0 also allows the use of up to five reference images in a single generation, which can reduce the need to manually combine different images when creating complex scenes.

Its smart resize feature allows the image to be enlarged according to the desired frame, while various ratios such as square, landscape and 2:1 are also available, including 1:2 and 9:16.
