Petrol and diesel prices reduced, new prices set

OGRA has reduced the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel while determining the new ex-depot rates for petroleum products for the period of September 19 to 21, 2026.
This price adjustment by OGRA was carried out under the government's petroleum pricing mechanism, following which the Petroleum Division issued a notification regarding the new rates.
According to the notification, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by 88 paisa per liter, setting the new rate at Rs 424.04 per liter.
The price of petrol has also been lowered; with a reduction of Rs 1.65 per liter, the new price has been fixed at Rs 389.14 per liter.
According to the announcement, these adjustments to petroleum product prices were made after taking into account changes in the global market, Platt's rates, premiums, and other associated costs.
