Shadab Khan takes second hat-trick in T20 cricket

Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan achieved his second T20 career hat-trick with a stellar performance in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
Representing the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons against the Guyana Amazon Warriors, Shadab accomplished this feat by claiming three consecutive wickets off the final three deliveries of the ninth over.
The Pakistani all-rounder first dismissed Shimron Hetmyer, followed by the wickets of Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Quinton Sampson. By taking these three wickets in the final three balls of the over, he completed his hat-trick.
Third Bowler in CPL History
With this hat-trick, Shadab Khan has become the third bowler in the history of the Caribbean Premier League to achieve this milestone.
This marks Shadab Khan's second career hat-trick in T20 cricket. He trails only Mohammad Sami, who holds the record for the most hat-tricks in the format, having achieved the feat three times.
Prolific Wicket-Taking in 2026
Shadab Khan has demonstrated outstanding bowling form in T20 cricket throughout 2026. He has claimed 67 wickets so far this year, making him the leading wicket-taker in the format for the year.
