Cristiano Ronaldo hints that this season could be the last of his career

Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted that the current season could be the last of his illustrious career.

Ronaldo said in an interview that this is likely his last year in football and that he wants to say goodbye to the game with a memorable legacy.

A five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Ronaldo has won league titles in England, Spain, Italy and Saudi Arabia and is also the all-time leading scorer in international football.

The Portuguese captain has been a part of Saudi club Al-Nasr for almost four years and still has one year left on his contract.

Ronaldo said that after his time away from football, he wants to enjoy different aspects of life, including traveling, spending time with family and playing sports such as paddle.

It should be noted that Ronaldo, 41, married his longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez a few days ago, with whom he also has five children.

Ronaldo is just 24 goals away from completing 1,000 career goals. On the other hand, his long-time rival Lionel Messi has also expressed uncertainty about his future.
